Meet Gemma -
The passion behind Wyld.
Hey, I’m Gemma — founder of Built Wyld, personal trainer, nutritionist, outdoor recreation leader, movement lover, traveller, wife and mum of two currently travelling Australia.
I’ve spent years in the outdoors — from leading hikes to tackling the Australian Alps Track solo. I know what it’s like to push limits, carry a heavy pack, and feel both wildly capable and completely wrecked at the same time.
I've dabbled in sport climbing, mountain biking, paddling (flat water and some white), backpacking, road cycling, and, in my 'mum era' am currently having a go of crossfit - which has lead me to my love of functional fitness.
So.. that’s why I created Built Wyld: to help everyday adventurers build real strength, prevent injuries, and feel ready for whatever wild terrain calls them — without needing a gym or a perfect schedule.
With a background in outdoor recreation, personal training, and nutrition (soon to be qualified), I bring a no-BS, practical approach to training for hikes, rides, surf missions, and summit goals.
